the program works:
Ten Key Points About the
Experienced Coach Program
You'll be committing yourself
to coaching 100 people within two years, from the
time you start. This means you'll coach an average
of one new person each week to finish in 2 years.
Think of it as a complimentary session each week.
If you have the time and enthusiasm, you can certainly
commit yourself to coaching more than one person
per week.
You will need to coach each person
for a minimum of 30 minutes. Preferably, you will
establish an ongoing coaching relationship with
them, but even if you don't, coaching them once
will count, as long as they fill out an online
feedback form, which will take them about 3 minutes
to do.
We're pretty flexible about what
clients will count for credit. They certainly don't
have to be paying clients, though we will give
you training on how to convert them to paying clients.
They can be friends, family, even buddy coaches.
However, you can't very well build a practice with
those people, so you will want to branch out much
further into your network as soon as you have the
nerve, so you can start building up your practice.
People who you should NOT coach
for this program, include young children, anyone
who is mentally impaired, addicted to drugs or
alcohol, or who has a mood or character disorder.
If you already have coaching experience,
you will only be able to get credit from this program,
if those clients are willing to fill out the online
form. No other form of proof will be accepted.
The form is designed to give you
valuable feedback on the effectiveness of your
coaching for each “client”. You'll learn to become
a great coach much faster, because of this. Most
of the questions can be answered on a 1-5 point
scale.
The form will also ask questions
of the “client”, like “Do you want to be contacted
by this coach again?”, “Would you refer this coach
to others?”, “Would you be willing to write a brief
testimonial for this coach?”.
As you go through this process,
you'll be able to take live and/or recorded teleclasses
designed to teach you the skills you will need
as you go through the program.
We'll also have useful forms designed
just for this program for you to use.
Currently, there are 25 one-hour
teleclasses planned for this program to be rolled
out in 2004, at the rate of two/month.

and ways for you to track your progress online,
as you proceed. There will also be an affiliate
program, as well as a licensing program for those
of you who may want to share it with others. And
when you earn the Certified Experienced tm designation
you will be featured in the “get certified coaching
news”!
