Anyone who wants to excel in their field will benefit from having a mentor. Just as anyone who wants to excel at anything will benefit from having a coach! So this is doubly true for coaches, themselves! As you mentor coach, I will help you develop and evolve, both personally and professionally, train you in coaching skills and proficiencies, help you to market your way to a full practice, and I will refer you and connect you to the people and resources you need to know. Research shows that most coaches never make a living at coaching, but that the most successful coaches have had strong mentors!

Coaching is a new field with terrific opportunities for coaches who are talented and motivated, but the coach whose training, positioning, networking, and marketing are also well developed will take off like a meteor! Competition is a reality. Thomas Leonard, himself, said that not every coach will be able to have a full practice, but that the coach who is in the top 5% of the field can create all the success they want! My goal as your mentor coach is to help position you in the top 5% of the Coaching Profession!

In addition to your personal, professional, and spiritual growth, and also your marketing growth, I will help you successfully work toward various coach certifications. As the coaching profession continues to grow, training and certification is becoming a necessity. IAC or ICF certification, for instance, will help brand you as a highly skilled, highly ethical, well trained coach and will give you credibility in a field where anyone can read a self-help book and call themselves a coach! Credibility is one of the keys to coach success and we'll explore all the ways for you to become a credible and successful coach. My coaching programs for mentees include your choice of personal and/or group coaching, as well as free membership in relevant teleclasses, study groups and programs, like the Experienced Coach Program(tm), which will earn you the Certified Experienced(tm) designation.

Well, my mentee clients do, first of all! But in addition to my coaching experience and my experience as a faculty member at CoachVille, the Schools of CoachVille and the International Association of Coaches (IAC), I'm a Coach U graduate and a Certified Mentor Coach trained to teach the 15 Certified Coach Proficiencies on which the new CoachVille and IAC Certified Coach designation is based. In fact, I'm one of the few Mentor Coaches who is licensed to teach the Certified Coach Proficiencies in my own business.  I've also received superb mentor coaching with some of the top coaches in the industry, including Dave Buck, Owner and President of CoachVille, and Anna Dargitz, former Dean of the Graduate School of Coaching. And I love coaching other coaches! .
